WELCOME FALL!

The official first day of fall is one day away (Wednesday, September 22, 2021) and the temperatures are promised to drop soon! I rounded up some of my all time favorite fall outfits over the years to share some inspo for the next season. I noticed a pattern early on in gathering all of these looks that I love to stick with autumnal colors and throw in a leopard print every now and then. From boots to sweaters and everything in between I hope this round up has something you’re looking for this fall season.

1. HOCUS POCUS

Have a favorite halloween graphic tee? Just add some accessories and a chunky cardigan for this casual put together look. My Hocus Pocus t-shirt is my favorite to sport for the holiday – sold out but I linked a similar pair!

2. PUMPKIN SPICE

This dress just screams all things pumpkin and autumn to me! I dressed it up here with some bold statement boots but I think it would be cute with cute sneakers too. The material is such nice quality and very warm so definitely save this look for those cooler fall days. Also, comes in more colors (the black and white are my favorites too)!

3.  AUTUMN BASICS

For those “not cold enough for a sweater” days – the perfect fall colored cardigan will do! Ankle boots and a panama hat are my go-to autumn basics because they always seem to pull a look together and elevate it. PS: these are my absolute favorite booties – also have them in white!

4.  ALL ABOUT THE BOOTS

If there is one thing I know – boots are a fall wardrobe STAPLE. Whether you like bold statement boots or basic ankle boots they are always needed for the fall/winter months. I have been loving the over-the-knee (OTK) boot trend since 2019 and they are still in style today! For us short girls they really help accentuate and elongate our legs. Not to mention they keep me very warm and look very chic dressed up or down. These pictured are my favorite kind from Goodnight Macaroon that don’t fall down when I walk.

5.  LITTLE LEOPARD

Clearly I have a thing for leopard. They say leopard is a neutral but in this case it’s a statement piece. Sometimes a beautiful coat is all the look needs. I love bringing out this print during the fall months because of the colors associated with it. And if you’re silly like me pair it with some leopard cat ears haha!

6.  “ITS FREAKIN BATS”

If you’ve seen the video of the little girl saying “Look it! Its freakin bats – I love Halloween.” Well that is the type of energy I have with me in this sweater. This is such an easy casual fall look and my Gucci dupe black mules are finally back in stock!!!!

7.  SHORT SLEEVE KNITS

Leopard’s back. Another easy casual fall look – you could even throw on a sweater vest with a button down to make it more trendy! Linked a super cute one for ya.

8.  BLANKET SCARVES

I think this one is by far my favorite cozy fall look. I always love layering with scarfs but for this look I took it up a notch by belting my scarf at my waist line giving the illusion of a wrap sweater. Throw on some rain boots and you’re good to go!

9.  ACADEMIA PLAID

This outfit always gives me Blair Waldorf vibes from Gossip Girl with the chic blazer dress and plaid prints. I love this look for a fall brunch or classier occasion. The dress alone is a statement piece and so perfect for fall. Had to find a similar toe-cap slingback heel since they are sold out.

10.  LEAF PEEPER

Pairing a printed midi skirt with a sweater and hat just screams “ready for fall” to me. I feel like during the colder months its so second nature to just throw on some jeans and a sweater but mixing it up every now and then its a long skirt is just as cute and warm.

I hope you find something you like and get inspiration for the next season! I love this time of year when the weather drops, the leaves change and my sweaters come out to play so putting together this blog post was extra fun for me. Let me know if you recreate any of these looks and let me know which one is your favorite!

Love,
Nickole
