Tartan Tuesday: Plaid Series Part I

It’s plaid season y’all! With only a month away from the holiday season plaid, tartan and buffalo check prints are everywhere. Therefore this whole month of November I’m starting a #PlaidSeries and showcasing my favorite plaid outfits, accessories and clothing for the upcoming holiday season. Every Tuesday (Tartan Tuesday) there will be a new blog post with new plaid things and holiday tips I love.

This week is my favorite little find from Old Navy… this plaid vest is less than $20! Vest’s are so versatile and can be styled with dresses, jeans or skirts. I love them and own probably about a dozen different vests haha. This particular Old Navy plaid vest is lined with a small strip of black velvet which makes a little more elegant and chic.

For this outfit I paired my Old Navy plaid vest with a chunky sweater dress and strappy heels for a fancy brunch out with my family. However, you can totally dress it down with a cute pair of tall boots for class or running on errands.

PS: I started reading this glamorous NYC book for the holidays “Bergdorf Blondes” and I love it! If you’re a Sex and the City fan like myself (I’m Charlotte York lol) then you’ll like this book. Give it a read and let me know what you think.
