Bar Cart
It’s almost New Years Eve and if you’re hosting a festive party I’ve got you covered. Bar carts are such a fun element to any party and they really need only three things; drink ware, booze and holiday props/decor. For my bar cart I started with the alcohol and included a variety of different kinds because not every guest of yours is going to want to drink the same things. For New Years its crucial you have champagne. So I’d start there. A classic one to choose (pictured below) is the Dom Pérignon Champagne which is a 1998 vintage champagne from the champagne house Moët & Chandon. Another great champagne selection would be the Veuve Clicquot which is a french champagne house that specializes in premium products. No matter what brand you chose to go with champagne is a must for a NYE party to toast to the New Year with.
Next, you want to choose festive drink ware for your guest. I pulled out some vintage champagne glasses, wine glasses and scotch glasses with some gold sparkly details to go with the NYE theme. My gold polka dot glasses are from Kate Spade and they add the perfect sparkle to this bar cart. Below I’ve added some fun drink ware for your NYE party.
Lastly, is the fun part… props and decorations! I filled my bar cart with some festive NYE noise makers, party hats and headbands for my guest to wear. Having props like this makes your party 10 x more fun because it lets your guest interact, take photos and get into that party mood. Below I’ve added some NYE props for your NYE party.
NYE Drink Recipe
From Bellinis to Cocktails, your NYE drink recipe shouldn’t be anything but colorful and sparkly! This year I went with a sparkling cranberry punch. Recipe below.
Sparkling Cranberry Punch Recipe:
- 2 quarts cranberry juice cocktail (found here).
- 1 quart Champagne.
- 16 ounce can of frozen pink lemonade – thawed (found here).
Instructions: In a large container, combine the cranberry juice cocktail, champagne and thawed pink lemonade. Stir and serve!

NYE Outfit
Whether you love the more gold tones or silver tones, your NYE outfit should be full of sparkles. Below I’ve linked my NYE outfit (pictured below) and some other alternatives for your NYE party.
