It’s been a long time since I did a book/reading list for you all! I love to read but there always seems to be so many other things that I have to do in a day. From working to running on errands and blogging to exercising I forget to make time for myself and curl up with a good book. This year I’m going to try to be more mindful of that and hopefully get through more than just two books!

I recently picked up two really great books that I have already started reading and filling up with sticky notes to flag important pages. These books are meant for the more creative, social media savvy, blogger type which I LOVE!

InstaStyle By Tezza is the ultimate Instagram/content creators guide! Not only does she help you get more familiar with Instagram but Tezza gives you amazing tips on how to capture stunning images, create eye-catching captions and increase your following. It has helped me out tremendously. In fact, since I bought the book last month and actually used her tips I have increased my following and engagement on Instagram. If you’re interested, SHOP HERE!

LIKEtoKNOW.it: Stories from the Influencer Next Door by the editors of LTK is a similar book in that it kind of revolves around the Instagram platform. Blogging has become such a successful phenomenon that the influencer company LiketoKnow. It put together a book about all the successful bloggers in the world making millions sharing the things they love. Some of my favorite bloggers/influencers are featured in this book and they discuss how they found success with their blog and platform. Beauty, food, exercise, travel, fashion, family, lifestyle… you name it they covered it all in this book from the top-notch bloggers on Instagram! It’s truly inspiring and has made me even more determined to continue my blogging career. If you’re interested, SHOP HERE!

My next round of picks are collectibles, but I had to share because these are perhaps my favorite books to read. I’m talking TRAVEL! Don’t get me wrong, I love a good novel but there’s nothing quite as interesting as reading a travel book where the images on the pages fill your mind with endless possibilities and ideas for your next trip/travels. I think of it as creating my own little story as I brainstorm places to see and go.

The New York Times has created this series called Explorer with different travel categories that they cover. If you’re a more outdoorsy traveler, they got you covered! If you’re a more city traveler, you guessed it… they got you covered! I mean the list goes on and I’m amazed at how much detail they put into these travel books. PS: they also look amazing on a coffee table for guests to enjoy as well!If you’re interested, SHOP HERE!

To round up this post I’m sharing some books I’ve been interested in picking up the next time I’m at the book store!

  • Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis
  • The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo
  • One Day in December by Josie Silver
  • Homebody by Joanna Gaines
  • Whiskey in a Tea Cup by Reese Witherspoon
