I’m back in my favorite city for a few days! This post is just part one of my New York adventures this spring. However, my day in Central Park was magical.
Spring time in the city is beautiful. Everything is blooming and colorful. I never know where to look. Although I’ve seen different parts of Central Park during my past trips, this was my first time seeing Bow Bridge, Bethesda Terrace and fountain all located (hidden) inside the park.

Bow Bridge as pictured below is located just a short walk past the Loeb Boathouse where you can rent a paddle boat for $15 an hour and paddle through the Central Park Lake which is what I did with my boyfriend. It was a beautiful spring day and I saw a bunch of turtles swimming around. From Bow Bridge you can see all of the Central Park Lake as the New York City skyline peaks through the trees and capture that famous Instagram worthy snapshot haha!

BOW BRIDGE
Right around the corner from the same place (The Loeb Boathouse) you will find the Bethesda Terrace and fountain which overlooks all the paddle boats rowing alongside the lake. The terrace is amazing and has a Spanish flare to it which I love! It has mosaic tile lining the ceiling and walls with arches and columns that hold the terrace up. Street performers and musicians were playing music while people danced along (including my sweet boyfriend and I). Overall it was a great day and to spend it with my love was extra special. If you’re ever in the city, I highly recommend touring this part of Central Park.
