Welcome to The Blonderella, a life and style blog situated in Alabama and dedicated to sharing life’s little moments. Here, we celebrate affordable fashion, travel, home decor and the joy of the holiday season (be sure to check back during fall/winter for something special). I’m Nickole Haymaker, and my blogging journey began in 2016 when I was a sophomore in college. I sought a creative outlet to express myself and archive my experiences, and what better name than “Blonderella”, the nickname my dad used to call me when I was a little girl? And so, my blog came to life.

Although I was born and raised in southern California, my love for the south prompted me to venture out and make it my home someday. I eventually moved to Alabama for college, graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in communications, and spent five years working in marketing/advertising, gaining valuable knowledge of the industry, all while pursuing my passion for blogging on the side. Over time, the south became my beloved home, specifically Birmingham, AL, where I now reside with my fiancé, Bobby, and our adorable pup, Allie.

I take pride in blending my west coast roots with southern style and charm as I navigate life. As a self-proclaimed budget-friendly fashionista (with occasional indulgences), I enjoy sharing not only my personal style but also my travel experiences, home decor inspirations, glimpses into my personal life and much more. My aim is to provide you with relatable and helpful content that sparks inspiration. Nothing brings me more joy than sharing my favorite brands and things that bring me happiness with all of you.
