As I mentioned in my last blog post (click here to view) this month I’m doing a #PlaidSeries and sharing my favorite plaid/tartan outfits, accessories or clothes every Tuesday (Tartan Tuesday) for the holiday season. I love to wear plaid especially around the holidays because it reminds me of all those classic christmas prints of reds and greens mixed together. Plaid is a staple to any fashion guru’s closet and it pairs lovely with just about anything.

This week I’m sharing my favorite plaid skirts all under $50. Dress them up or down, they’re perfect for that touch of holiday flare this season. For this weeks outfit I dressed up my plaid skirt from J.Crew with strappy red heels, a deep green turtleneck and strands of pearls.
