I hope everyone had a lovely New Years Eve. I’m a little late to the party here posting days after the Holiday but I’ve been so busy getting ready for my Alabama move its been impossible for some ‘me’ time haha.

I’m excited to share this ensemble with y’all because my dress was only $34 from Shop Riff Raff and also comes in Red and Navy. It’s definitely one of those “little black dresses” that every woman should have in their closet (outfit links are at the bottom).

This year I decided to stay away from the traditional sparkle/glitter ensemble and go for a more old Hollywood glam/Flapper-esque look since my night took place at the famous Granada Theatre in Downtown Santa Barbara.

The Theatre was built in 1924 during the roaring ’20s era of flappers and bootleggers. The lobby greets you with age old staircases and chandeliers. I couldn’t take much pictures since it was very crowded and photography isn’t allowed inside however I was able to snap this shot as everyone was being seated.

Every New Years Eve it’s my families tradition to go to Santa Barbara, California and ring in the New Year at the Granada. Each year they have different kinds of entertainment to watch. This year was a combination of a live orchestra and opera singer with many special guest including a fun little tribute to the Star Wars movie score. It was a lot of fun and I encourage everyone to visit the theatre if you’re ever in California.
